FALL in love with Texas

Back at it again with another post for the Fall collab! (Except this time i’m 4 days past my post day…sorry about that)

The topic of the week is “5 places to visit during the fall in each of our states”  I live in the great state of Texas, so that’s where my 5 places will be!

Tout Suit

I don’t know about y’all but fall makes me think of warm coffee and cozy places, “Tout Suit” is exactly that. It’s  a cute coffee shop in downtown Houston, with a very cozy feel to it. Grab a cup of coffee and some macaroons, or enjoy some of their real food (they even serve “real food” like steak and fries…OH and free WiFI)

Scream World

What is “Fall” without haunted houses?! Scream World has been voted the “scariest” haunted house in Houston, it opens up at the beginning of September and runs all the way until Halloween. Don’t chicken out, it’s a ton of fun, and will get your adrenaline pumping!

The Texas Renaissance Festival

The Texas Renaissance Festival is a HUGE festival that happens every Fall (October & November). At the Renaissance Festival you will find an enchanted world full of Kings and Queens, Lords and Ladies, Knights, Nobles, Fairies, Elves, Pirates…and soooo much more.

Walking around the festival you will find tons of unique performances featuring  musicians, magicians, acrobats, jugglers, dancers…etc..ect!!!The last time I went I rode an Elephant and a Camel!!!! There are  also a bunch of cool shops  to shop at and live demonstrations by craftspeople skilled in the arts of glass blowing, weaving, pottery, black-smithing,…. etc. ANNND last but not least there are foods and drinks from all over the world!!!!

It’s a little bit cheesy (because of all the grown people in ridiculous costumes), but i’d say it’s something everyone needs to go to AT LEAST once in their life

The 7 Acre Wood

Going to a pumpkin patch at some point in the fall is almost mandatory, like did you even really have the Fall season if you didn’t walk through a pumpkin patch at least once? (the answer is no)

The 7 Acre wood is  a  cute pumpkin patch in Conroe, Texas. At the 7 Acre Wood they have a petting zoo, a mini golf course,a western play town, a huge playground, gigantic sandbox, rope slide, horseshoes, hay rides, and of course a GIANT pumpkin patch. I get it most of that is little kid stuff, but trust me “Adults” can have fun their too!!!

Austin City Limits Music Festival

I have never been to the Austin City Limits Music Festival but it is on my “Fall bucket list” for either this fall or next!!! ACL is a HUGE annual music festival located in Austin, Texas, where over the span of two weekends a ton of live performances play on the festivals 8 stages!!!
