Recent Buys

This week I’ve been on a spending spree, buying everything except the things I actually need to buy…for example my textbooks.  The things I bought range from ice cream to make up so be prepared to read reviews of a bunch of random items.

Buys:

I bought the NYX “Dream Catcher” Pallet because the rose gold colored case caught my eye, and i’m all for buying cheap drugstore eye shadows.

I swatched all of the colors so you could get an idea of how they would look on. If you start at the base of my arm and go up towards my fingers the swatches start at the top right of the pallet and go down to the second color in the left column.

These aren’t the best quality pictures but as you can kind of tell  almost all of the colors are shimmery. I am really happy with this eye shadow pallet, I wore it today and the color stayed on great and I got quite a few compliments!

The ice cream all the “fitstagrammers” have been raving about for the past year is FINALLY at my local grocery store! I’ve been seeing this all over instagram and have been wanting to test it out… after all the WHOLE pint is ONLY 240 calories oh and did I mention it has more protein than regular ice cream too. 

As you can see I bought the “Vanilla Bean” flavor, I figured it’s hard to go wrong with vanilla.  The ice cream itself is a little harder than regular ice cream, but they explain on the pint that that’s because it lacks the softening chemicals other ice cream have...so even though it’s a struggle to scoop at first, it’s worth it. The flavor was pretty good, I’ve had better but I still liked it. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the texture is a little bit weird, it’s not exactly “ice cream textured”, the texture reminds me of a protein shake that had been frozen. All in all I would buy this ice cream again.

Next thing I bought was some Houston Texans football socks, because It’s my hometown’s football team and I LOVE American football.

I like to wear cool socks when I workout.

Speaking of working out I also bought some wireless Beats headphones to workout in!!

I told you i’m a little bit obsessed with the rose gold color right now!!! These were pretty expensive but I think it’s worth it because when I workout with regular headphones I get frustrated with the wires getting all tangled up or wrapped in my hair!

That sums up my random item haul of the week, I hope you liked it! I also picked out a new blog theme yesterday if you haven’t noticed. I’m still working out the kinks, but it would be greatly appreciated if you’d let me know what you think of it! BE HONEST, my feeling wont get hurt if you tell me you hate it.
